ReadyFy – Frequently Asked Questions
What is ReadyFy?
ReadyFy is an Infrastructure Technology platform designed to structure, validate, and trace regulated processes.
Many professional, legal, administrative, and regulatory procedures involve multiple participants, fragmented documentation, and complex approval requirements. ReadyFy provides a structured digital environment where these processes can be organized, monitored, and verified from start to completion.
Rather than replacing institutions, ReadyFy prepares processes before they reach the decision-making authority, reducing friction, errors, and delays.
Is ReadyFy a project management tool?
No.
While ReadyFy includes project management features, it is not simply a task manager.
ReadyFy is designed specifically for regulated or structured processes, where documentation, responsibilities, approvals, and traceability are critical.
The platform introduces structured workflows, document integrity mechanisms, and readiness indicators that allow stakeholders to understand the real status of a process.
What types of processes can be managed with ReadyFy?
ReadyFy can structure a wide range of processes, including:
-
land development and permitting
-
rezoning and planning approvals
-
legal procedures
-
immigration cases
-
professional licensing
-
business permits
-
institutional compliance processes
-
structured consulting projects
-
personal administrative projects
The platform is designed to support both simple coordination workflows and highly regulated approval processes.
What is the Development Readiness Index (DRI)?
The Development Readiness Index (DRI) is a standardized indicator generated by ReadyFy that measures how prepared a process is to move forward.
Each type of process has a predefined workflow standard. As activities and documentation are completed within that structure, the platform calculates the level of completion.
The DRI represents the verified readiness level of a process at the time of certification.
This indicator allows stakeholders to quickly understand whether a process is:
-
at an early preparation stage
-
partially structured
-
or ready for submission, execution, or approval.
What is Land Development Readiness (LDR)?
Land Development Readiness (LDR) is a specialized application of the Development Readiness Index designed specifically for land-related projects.
It evaluates the preparation level of a property for development by measuring the completion of key steps such as:
-
due diligence
-
surveys and technical studies
-
environmental assessments
-
planning coordination
-
permitting preparation
The LDR indicator helps developers, investors, and property owners understand how ready a property is for development at a given point in time.
How does ReadyFy determine the readiness level of a process?
ReadyFy uses standardized process templates, called Libraries, that define:
-
phases
-
activities
-
documentation requirements
-
responsibilities
As the project team completes activities and uploads supporting information, the platform tracks progress and calculates the readiness level based on the defined structure.
The result is a transparent and traceable readiness measurement.
Can ReadyFy certify the status of a process?
Yes.
ReadyFy can issue a readiness certification indicating the level of completion of a process as of a specific date.
This certification is based on:
-
the standardized workflow for the process type
-
completed activities
-
uploaded documentation
-
system traceability records
This creates an objective reference that can be used by owners, professionals, financial institutions, or regulators to understand the status of a project.
Who uses ReadyFy?
ReadyFy is designed for a broad ecosystem of participants involved in structured processes, including:
-
property owners
-
realtors and brokers
-
developers
-
engineers and architects
-
legal professionals
-
consultants
-
project managers
-
institutional reviewers
Each participant interacts with the process according to their assigned role.
Why is traceability important?
Many regulated processes fail or become delayed because responsibilities and documentation are not clearly tracked.
ReadyFy maintains a complete traceability record of:
-
actions performed
-
document versions
-
activity progress
-
user interactions
This record improves transparency, accountability, and coordination among participants.
Why does ReadyFy focus on Land Development first?
Land development processes involve:
-
multiple professionals
-
complex regulations
-
high financial stakes
-
long approval timelines
Because of this complexity, land development is an ideal environment to implement structured regulatory workflows.
Once the system is proven in this vertical, the same infrastructure can be applied to many other regulated processes.
Is ReadyFy limited to government processes?
No.
ReadyFy can structure any process that benefits from:
-
defined workflows
-
document organization
-
role-based coordination
-
traceability
-
readiness measurement
This includes corporate workflows, consulting processes, and even structured personal projects.
What problem does ReadyFy ultimately solve?
ReadyFy addresses a fundamental issue in regulated and structured environments:
processes are often executed without structure, without traceability, and without a clear measurement of readiness.
By introducing standardized workflows and readiness indicators, ReadyFy creates a system where processes can be prepared, verified, and advanced with clarity and accountability.
What is a process in ReadyFy?
A process in ReadyFy represents a structured professional workflow designed to manage regulated or coordinated activities.
Each process is created from a predefined template (Library) and includes phases, activities, responsible participants, documentation, and progress tracking.
Processes can represent many types of work, including:
land development readiness
rezoning consulting
environmental permitting
legal procedures
business licensing
personal or administrative projects
How do I start a new process?
To start a process, go to:
Process Management → New Process
You will then complete the Create Ticket form, where you must define:
the category of the process
the process template (Library)
the project title
a description of the request
optional supporting evidence such as documents, images, or reports
Once saved, the process will appear in the Process Management dashboard.
What are Categories?
Categories help organize different types of processes within the platform.
Examples include:
Land Development
Environmental Permits
Rezoning Consulting
Personal Projects
Categories allow users to filter and manage process templates more efficiently.
What is a Library?
A Library is a reusable process template.
Each Library contains predefined:
phases
activities
workflow structure
For example, a Rezoning Process library may include phases such as:
due diligence
planning review
community meetings
zoning application
public hearings
Instead of rebuilding the workflow every time, the template can be reused across multiple projects.

What are Teams?
A Team is a group of people collaborating on one or more processes.
Teams may include:
company staff
consultants
partners
external collaborators
Users can be invited by email. If they are not already registered, ReadyFy will automatically send them an invitation to join the platform.
How are processes structured?
Each process is organized into:
Phases → Activities
For example:
Phase: Environmental Review
Activities: Wetland assessment, ecological study, mitigation planning
Phase: Planning
Activities: Site plan preparation, zoning review, public hearings
This structure allows ReadyFy to manage complex processes in a clear and organized way.
How are activities managed?
Activities are managed through the Activities Management module, which uses a Kanban-style board.
Activities move through three main stages:
Pending – activity assigned but not started
In Progress – work currently being executed
Completed – activity finished and verified
When an activity moves to Completed, the system automatically updates the project progress percentage.

How are responsibilities assigned?
Each activity can be assigned to a member of the Team.
For example:
a Realtor may handle marketing analysis
an engineer may handle technical studies
a consultant may prepare regulatory documentation
This ensures clear accountability for each step of the process.
Can documents and evidence be attached?
Yes.
Each activity allows users to upload:
documents
photographs
reports
maps
technical studies
videos or supporting materials
These files become part of the official project record.
How is process progress measured?
ReadyFy automatically tracks the progress of each process based on completed activities.
The dashboard displays:
percentage of completion
number of completed activities
number of pending tasks
This provides a clear view of the current readiness level of the process.
Can external stakeholders view the process?
Yes.
Through Public Access links, a project manager can share a controlled view of the process with stakeholders such as:
clients
supervisors
investors
institutional reviewers
Users accessing the link must create a free account to ensure traceability of who accesses the project.
What is the project history or log?
ReadyFy maintains a complete activity log (History).
This log records:
user access
actions performed
updates made to activities
document uploads
progress changes
This traceability creates a reliable record of responsibility, activity timing, and project evolution.
Why does ReadyFy track everything?
ReadyFy is designed for regulated or structured processes, where traceability, accountability, and documentation integrity are critical.
By maintaining a structured workflow and activity history, the platform provides:
transparency
better coordination among professionals
verifiable process records
improved project governance
